Selsey RNLI Rush to Rescue Person in Rough Seas off Bognor Regis
BREAKING: Selsey RNLI scrambled their all-weather lifeboat after person spotted in the choppy waters off Bognor Regis.
Urgent Lifeboat Launch at Bognor Regis
At 5pm on Tuesday 1 November 2022, the UK Coastguard called for an immediate launch of the 123 and Selsey Coastguard Rescue Teams were also dispatched. The lifeboat stood by until shore teams confirmed the person’s safety.
The Selsey ALB was released from the call at 5.41pm, returning to base at 6.08pm and quickly stood down.
