Blaze Tears Through Carpentry Workshop in Late-Night Fire

A fire ravaged a mid-terraced carpentry workshop in an industrial unit overnight. Firefighters battled the flames and took no chances with seven gas and adhesive cylinders, cooling and removing them to prevent explosions.

Rapid Response from Multiple Fire Stations

The alarm was raised at 11.35 p.m., and the fire was brought under control by 1.15 a.m. Crews from Forest Hill, Beckenham, Lewisham, Bromley, and West Norwood rushed to the scene.

Accidental Fire Linked to Ventilation System

Early reports suggest the blaze started accidentally, possibly caused by the building’s ventilation system. Luckily, no injuries have been reported.
