Speeding Silver Peugeot Sparks Hit-and-Run Chaos in Paulsgrove
A couple narrowly escaped disaster in a shock hit-and-run in Paulsgrove this evening.
Crash at Watford Road, 5.45pm
The drama unfolded around 5.45pm at the bottom of Watford Road near Ludlow Road. A silver Peugeot convertible tore down Allyway Avenue at a reckless 60-70mph, smashing into the rear of another vehicle.
The driver then fled the scene, speeding up Watford Road towards Deehurst Crescent and Hilslea Road.
Chase and Close Call
A second vehicle, which had just been reversed into, gave chase. But the driver in the Peugeot disappeared before being caught. Thankfully, those involved were lucky to escape serious injury — especially as one car carried a six-week-old baby onboard.
