Air Ambulance Touches Down After Horror Crash on Busy Highway
The Kent, Sussex and Surrey air ambulance landed at the scene after a car rolled over and slammed into the back of a huge lorry. Fire crews fought to pry open the vehicle’s roof to treat those injured in the smash.
Traffic Chaos as Road Closes
Long queues quickly built up with traffic gridlocked for miles. The highway remains shut while police carry out a full investigation and clear the wreckage.
Stranded drivers are slowly being allowed through as emergency teams work to reopen the route.
