A Newport mum is desperate for help after a hit-and-run driver fled the scene of a two-car smash on the Isle of Wight.
Driver Flees After Forest Road Collision
Police were called to a crash on Forest Road, just outside Newport, last Monday, April 23. The silver Citroen’s driver made off without exchanging details or waiting for officers.
Mum Appeals for Witnesses
Carlie Seekings, a full-time mum from East Cowes, was behind the wheel of a green car involved in the collision. She says the Citroen’s rear wheel came off during the crash, but the driver ran off on foot.
“I’m out of pocket and just want the driver to take responsibility,” Carlie said.
Police Investigate, Public Asked to Help
Hampshire Police are probing the incident and urge anyone with information to call 101.
