Urgent Search Underway for Missing 14-Year-Old in Gateshead
Police are desperate to find 14-year-old Leighton Carr, who vanished from Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The youngster was last seen on Friday, 2 May 2025, sparking serious concerns for his safety.
Leighton’s Last Known Look
Leighton was spotted wearing a black Under Armour cap with a white logo, a dark grey Berghaus puffer jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, a grey t-shirt, and black and grey Nike 95 trainers. Anyone who recognises this description is urged to come forward.
Police Plea: Any Info Could Help
Northumbria Police are leading the hunt and pleading with the public: if you have seen Leighton or know where he is, dial 101 immediately and quote reference number NP-20250503-1124.
“We are extremely concerned for Leighton’s safety and well-being. If you have seen him or have any information that can help our investigation, please contact us urgently,” said a Northumbria Police spokesperson.
