Teen Girl Raped in Telford Park Woodland – Police Hunt Suspect
A 13-year-old girl was brutally raped on Tuesday, 6th May, near the Visitor Centre in Telford Town Park. The attack happened around 7pm in a wooded area.
Teen Suspect Described
Police are searching for a white teenage boy aged between 15 and 18. He is of average build, clean-shaven, with short dark hair. At the time, he wore a black hooded puffer coat, grey zip-up hoodie, matching joggers, and black trainers with white soles.
Witnesses reported seeing a boy matching this description at McDonald’s in Telford shortly before the assault.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Detective Inspector Paul Drury said: “We understand how worrying this incident will be for the local community, and I want to reassure residents that we are doing all we can to identify the person responsible.”
“We urge anyone who was in the area at the time or at McDonald’s between 6pm and 6.30pm to come forward.”
Officers remain visible in the local area and are continuing their enquiries.
