Woman Hurt as Car Crashes on The Chequers Inn Road
A woman was rushed to hospital by ambulance after a crash on The Chequers Inn Road early this morning (Friday).
Car Flips onto Its Side After Early Morning Crash
Police were called just after 8.30am to reports of a vehicle lying on its side. Emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene where medics freed and treated the woman.
Rush to Hospital and Long Traffic Delays
The injured driver was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Newport. Meanwhile, traffic remains gridlocked as the road stayed closed to allow emergency workers to recover the car from a nearby ditch.
