Overturned Vehicle Closes A3 near Longmoor
The A3 has been closed both directions between A325 Longmoor and A287 following a serious collision involving a number of vehicles. One of the vehicle has overturned. Hampshire Constabulary are route. Police have advised drivers to alternative route road likely to be closed for sometime. The Incident is being classed as serious.It is believed that a car hasran into a pole carrying an 11,000 volts power cable and ended up in ditch. Fire crews from Hampshire and Surrey fire and rescue service are attending. Police have closed of both side of the carriageway and are awaiting the arrival of Scottish and Southern Electric. Many drivers have been stuck in their vehicles for some two hours
