Basingstoke Burglar Busted and Banged Up for Five Years

Daniel Malcolm, 37, of Kings Road, Basingstoke, has been sentenced to five years behind bars. He pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary, dangerous driving, and driving while disqualified at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, April 29.

Multiple Crimes Taken Into Account

Malcolm also asked the court to consider nine other burglaries and one attempted burglary during sentencing. The court learned he broke into a house on Cambrian Way, Basingstoke, where he stole a car, keys, and cash overnight.
