Police Close M3 Motorway near Basingstoke following Life Changing Incident

All three lanes of the northbound busy M3 motorway have been closed following serious crash. The M3 northbound near junction six and seven (A30) and Basingstoke has been closed. Police have advised people to avoid the area whilst the incident is being dealt with and seek alternative routes. Emergency services are on scene along with an Air ambulance. The road is likely to be blocked for the next few hours. A spokesman for Highways England has advised that the road is likely to be closed until at 5.15am on Saturday morning.
