Serious Clash on A36 Sparks Night of Chaos
Emergency crews are battling a major collision on the A36 Salisbury Road near West Wellow, which erupted just before 8pm tonight.
Rescue Drama as Car Bursts Into Flames
Firefighters from Hampshire Fire and Rescue teamed up with paramedics and a Hart unit from South Central Ambulance Service to tackle the scene. Heroic men, including Ryan Atfield, helped pull a man from one of the vehicles that caught fire, potentially saving his life.
Two Vehicles, Four Injured – Road Shut for Hours
- The crash involves a Vauxhall Corsa and a silver saloon.
- One person had to be cut free from the silver car.
- Two people, both thought to be seriously injured, were rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital.
- Two others involved are in their 60s.
Police have closed the road between Ower Services roundabout and Whinwhistle Road. The closure is expected to last until 5am Monday morning, causing major delays.
Police Launch Witness Appeal
