Road Rage Rumble: Woman Assaulted in Broad Daylight on Busy A3
Police are hunting witnesses after a shocking assault on the A3 near Liss. The drama unfolded between 11.30am and 11.50am on Monday, 26 June.
Shocking Attack at Ham Barn Roundabout
A red Nissan Micra and a silver Range Rover clashed in a heated dispute on the northbound A3, somewhere between Bedhampton and Ham Barn Roundabouts. Both cars came to a stop at Ham Barn Roundabout before the Range Rover driver stormed out and attacked the Nissan driver through her window.
The victim, a 55-year-old woman, was left with facial injuries following the unprovoked assault.
Suspect Description Released
The aggressive Range Rover driver is described as:
- White female, around 30 years old
- Thin build
- Blonde hair tied back
- Tattoos on upper chest
- Wearing a strappy top
Police Plea for Witnesses
PC Michael Nol of Havant Roads Policing Unit said: “This is a busy stretch of road, so I’m certain other motorists saw at least part of the incident. We need anyone who witnessed the attack, or the events leading up to it, to come forward.”
He added: “We also want to identify the Range Rover driver so we can question her about what happened.”
