Police Appeal for witnesses to serious collision in Worthing

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision involving a motorcyclist and a car in South Farm Road, Worthing. The collision happened at 1.21pm on Tuesday (8 August) and involved a green Kawaski motorbike and a black BMW car. The motorcyclist, a 42-year-old man from Worthing, suffered serious chest and leg injuries and is currently in a critical condition in the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. The BMW driver, a woman aged 67 also from Worthing, was uninjured. The road was closed for investigation and recovery work until 4.45pm. Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact police by emailing [email protected] or ring 101 quoting Operation Hail.
