Aldi Launches New Christmas Tipple… Chocolate Wine
German supermarket chain Aldi has just launched its latest alcohol range just in time for the festive season…and it is set to make chocolate lovers’ Christmas! Rubis Chocolate Wine can now be found on Aldi’s new sweet dessert wine list. The award-winning plonk is retailing at £9.99 and the notes of chocolate come with a tipsy-inducing 15% alcohol content. The chocolate wine has already picked-up the “Silver Outstanding” award at the International Wine & Spirit Competition, whilst spirits retailer The Whiskey Exchange have called the boozy creation a “very off-the-wall alternative to port”.
