Tragic Crash Claims Life of 25-Year-Old in Chandler’s Ford
Police are hunting for witnesses after a fatal car crash in Chandler’s Ford late Monday night.
Fatal Collision on Winchester Road
At around 11.30pm on 12 March, a Vauxhall Corsa heading south-west on Winchester Road slammed into a tree just past the Peverells Wood Avenue junction.
The driver, 25-year-old Ben Ghafoor from Wyndham Drive, Romsey, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Southampton General Hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute
Ben’s family released a moving statement: “Ben, words cannot explain how much we will miss you. Most beloved father, son and brother. Forever in our hearts.”
