A 20-year-old man from East Sussex was arrested after a suspicious object was found in a student accommodation block on Stanhope Road, Portsmouth. He has since been released but remains under investigation for offences under the Explosives Act.
Incident Sparks Police Response
The object was reported around 4.30pm on Thursday, April 19. Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident.
