Man Shot Dead Outside Queensbury Tube in Shocking Nighttime Murder
A murder probe is underway after a man was fatally shot in broad daylight near Queensbury tube station.
Fatal Shooting Rocks Queensbury
At 9.02pm on Tuesday, May 1, armed police rushed to Cumberland Road, HA8 following reports of a shooting. Paramedics found a man in his thirties with a critical gunshot wound. Despite efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene just before 10pm.
Meanwhile, a man in his twenties arrived at a north London hospital with a separate gunshot injury at 9.08pm. He remains stable and is receiving treatment.
Crime Scene Sealed Off as Police Hunt Gunmen
Both Cumberland Road and nearby Essolado Way, where the attacks are believed to have occurred, are under tight police guard. Forensic teams are combing the area for evidence, conducting ballistic tests, and reviewing local CCTV footage.
No arrests have been made. Police are notifying the victim’s next-of-kin and continuing their inquiries in partnership with the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Justin Howick said: “I would like to appeal to anyone with information to contact police at the earliest opportunity. Detectives are busy at the scene and working to build a clear picture of the circumstances of this fatal attack.”
