Murder Probe Launched After Elderly Woman Found Dead in Romford
Police have launched a murder investigation following the discovery of an 86-year-old woman’s body at her home in Havering.

The 1 Ambulance Service alerted officers at 11:31am on Tuesday, 15 May after reports of a woman found deceased at a property on Ashmour Gardens, Romford.
Officers rushed to the scene where the elderly woman was pronounced dead.
Next of Kin Informed, No Arrests Yet
Her family have been notified, but formal identification is pending.
A post-mortem is scheduled for 17 May to determine the cause of death. So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the case.

Detective Inspector Paul Considine of the Homicide and Major Crime Unit is leading the investigation as police probe the circumstances surrounding the tragic death.
