The military have swooped on Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s base this morning, confiscating a rapid response vehicle used during the Amesbury incident. This follows hot on the heels of another seizure — critical care paramedic Keith Mills had his personal Audi A3 taken from outside his Swindon home on Coronel Close just days earlier.

These latest events deal a fresh blow to the local air ambulance. Their rescue helicopter has been grounded since Friday 15 June due to a mechanical fault, leaving the team struggling to respond swiftly in emergencies.
