Massive Blaze Engulfs Denmead Stables
Firefighters from across Hampshire have rushed to tackle a major fire in Denmead tonight. More than 40 crews from Cosham, Havant, Fareham, Portchester, and Eastleigh battled a fierce blaze tearing through the stables.
Residents Urged to Stay Safe
Locals near the blaze have been warned to keep all windows and doors firmly shut as smoke thickens the area. Fire crews are expected to stay on site for hours as the fight continues.
Water Supply Issues Slow Firefighting
The operation faced hurdles due to limited water supplies, but firefighters managed to douse the flames using three main jets and two hose reel jets. The stables were completely destroyed, but thankfully all horses escaped unharmed.
