Blaze Erupts in Hampshire: Firefighters Race to Save Homes and Outbuildings
Fire crews are locked in a fierce battle against a raging fire threatening three outbuildings and a nearby property on the outskirts of Alton, Hampshire.
Massive Response to Early Morning Fire
Just before 10am today, six pumping engines from five different fire stations were scrambled to Plain Farm Lane in the East Tisted village. Four teams, kitted out with breathing apparatus and tackling the fire with two hose reels, are battling the well-developed blaze.
Water Supply Issues Hamper Firefighting Efforts
The three outbuildings are reported to be fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters face a major challenge due to the lack of nearby water supply, slowing down their efforts to contain the fire.
Water Carrier Brought in to Aid Firefighters
To tackle the ongoing water shortage, a water carrier has been deployed on scene to support crews in dousing the flames and protecting the property.
