Firefighters are locked in a fierce battle with a massive blaze that has destroyed around six hectares of woodland and heath in Yateley this afternoon.

Crews from Yateley, Rushmoor, and Hartley Wintney rushed to the scene after Hampshire Fire & Rescue Service received the alert at 3.33pm. Four fire engines and a land rover were deployed to tackle the inferno.
