Massive Blaze Rips Through Bordon Trading Estate
More than 50 firefighters are battling a huge fire at a trading estate in Bordon, Hampshire. The blaze broke out just before 2pm on Tuesday, 26th July 2016, at Highview.
Fire Crews Battle Roof Collapse and Thick Smoke
Hampshire Fire and Rescue dispatched eight appliances and an aerial ladder platform to the scene. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have entered the building amid intense flames.
The fire has engulfed four units, destroying the roof space and part of the roof itself. Supporting walls have also collapsed, adding to the danger.
Road Closures and Hazardous Driving Conditions
The A325 High Street is closed both ways as thick smoke billows across the road. Drivers face almost impossible conditions due to plumes of smoke pouring from the burning buildings.
Officials continue to tackle the fierce fire at the Bordon trading estate.
