Fire crews called to Venture Quays

Firefighters have been called to Venture Quays in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight this evening. A resident fancied a late night fry up. A fire crew from East Cowes were mobilised just after 11.45pm on Sunday evening after the automatic fire alarm was triggered by cooking fumes. An appliance from Newport was also mobilised but stood down once the cause of the alarm had been identified.
