Drunk Driver Bashes Wall – Then Assaults Cop in Sevenoaks
A suspected drunk driver crashed his car into a wall in Sevenoaks before allegedly attacking the responding officer. The chaos unfolded at around 9.20am on Saturday, 27 April 2019.
Crash, Arrest, and a Violent Outburst
Kent Police were called after a Renault Clio smashed into a wall on Hillingdon Avenue. Officers arrived quickly and arrested the driver at the scene. But things took a nasty turn when the 39-year-old allegedly kicked and tried to punch an officer in the face during arrest.
Charges and Court Date Set
Fraser Pyne, from Overdale, Weald, now faces multiple charges: drink driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, and assaulting an emergency worker. He’s been bailed and is due in Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 31 May.
