Farnborough Flat Raid: Woman Assaulted in Midnight Burglary
Police are hunting a gang of thugs who broke into a Farnborough flat just after midnight on Saturday, May 4. Four or five men stormed a Cody Road flat, demanding money from a woman in her 50s before viciously assaulting her and stealing items from the bedroom.
Masked Men Make Violent Raid
The victim suffered facial injuries during the attack. The raiders grabbed belongings but what exactly was stolen remains unclear. The gang fled the scene in a blue or grey hatchback.
Suspects Described: Youth and Bloke in Green Parker
- One suspect, aged 16-17, white, around 6ft 1in, wore a red and black scarf over his face.
- Another, white man in his 20s, had blond gelled-back hair and a green parker jacket.
- The rest were white men in their 20s.
Police Plea to Locals
“This will understandably worry the community and was terrifying for the woman inside,” said Detective Sergeant I. Croucher. “Officers are increasing patrols in the area. If you see anything suspicious or know who did this, please get in touch.”
