Joseph McCann Charged with Abduction and Rape in Hertfordshire
Joseph McCann, 34, has been charged with the abduction and rape of a woman in Hertfordshire. He is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today.
Arrest Made in Cheshire
McCann was arrested in Cheshire following the alleged incident in Watford on Sunday, 21 April. Police swooped in swiftly to bring him into custody.

The Metropolitan Police’s Homicide and Major Crime Command are continuing their probe. Meanwhile, a file on further alleged offences has been sent to the Crown Prosecution Service.
