Police Hunt John Bond Over Harassment Scandal
John Bond, 63, is on the run after pleading guilty to serious harassment offences. Now, he’s dodging court sentencing, sparking a warrant for his arrest.
Bombarded Ex with Threats
Between 13 and 21 June 2018, Bond unleashed a terrifying barrage on his former partner in Haywards Heath. He fired off around 170 threatening texts and made over 80 calls—all within 24 hours. The relentless harassment left his victim deeply distressed.
Further Crimes Feared
“Henry Bond bombarded his former partner with a string of threatening and abusive messages, which has caused her a great amount of distress,” said Sussex Police Investigator Carolyn Adams. “He admitted harassment but skipped his sentencing hearing, so a warrant is now out for his arrest.”
“We believe Bond has committed more crimes against other victims and urge anyone contacted by him to come forward and stay alert.”
