Stantonbury Stabbing Shocker: Man Attacked in Car
Police were called to Walsh’s Manor, Stantonbury, at around 6pm on 12th May after a brutal stabbing inside a stationary white Volkswagen Golf.
Attack Details Revealed
The victim, a 20-year-old man, was sitting in his car when a man suddenly smashed the window and stabbed him with a bladed weapon.
The attacker is described as a stocky, clean-shaven black male in his mid-twenties, around 6ft 3ins tall, with receding black hair. He wore a black puffa jacket.
He wasn’t alone. Another man, also black and about 6ft tall, was seen with him.
Suspects Flee Scene in Blue BMW
The two suspects are believed to have escaped in a blue BMW.
Detective Chief Inspector Nick Glister vowed: “Violent crime will not be tolerated in the 1 Valley and we are conducting a thorough investigation to find those responsible.”
He added the police are pursuing CCTV, forensic evidence, and automatic number plate recognition to track down the suspects.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
DCI Glister urged the public: “If you have dashcam, CCTV, or mobile footage of the incident, or if you saw a blue BMW or white Volkswagen in Stantonbury that evening, please come forward.”

Victim’s Condition Stable
The victim suffered five stab wounds to his abdomen and torso but is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
