Fatal collision on A229 Blue Bell Hill in Kent

Officers investigating a fatal collision on the A229 Blue Bell Hill are appealing for information. Kent Police was called at 12.50am on Saturday 25 May 2019 after a black Peugeot 206 overturned on the Maidstone-bound carriageway between the Lord Lees Roundabout and the slip road leading to Eccles and Aylesford. A red BMW car is also believed to have been involved but did not stop following the collision. The driver of the Peugeot, a 23-year-old man from Buckinghamshire, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Witnesses or anyone with information about the red BMW are urged to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538 quoting reference MC/DS/61/19.
