Donkey Drama in Kent: Firefighters Rescue Braying Beast from Muddy Ditch
Kent Fire and Rescue Service leapt into action after a donkey got stuck in a shallow ditch in Bull Hill, Bethersden, near Ashford.
Stuck in the Slush
Firefighters and the KFRS Animal Rescue Unit arrived to find the poor donkey trapped in two feet of water. The steep, muddy bank was too tough for the animal to climb out alone.
Special Equipment Saves the Day
The rescue team quickly employed their special animal rescue gear to haul the soaked donkey to dry land.
“Braying for a smooth rescue,” the donkey looked relieved and soon let out a cheerful “Hee-haw” as thanks to its rescuers.
Another successful save by the heroic Kent fire crews!
