Man arrested following Class” A” drugs raid in Ryde

Police on the Isle of Wight have been carried out a raid at property in Ryde for drugs this morning. Officers from Hampshire Constabulary carried out the preplanned raid at the property on Union Street in the town of Ryde on the Island. One man has been arrested on suspected of drug dealing. Officers have also carried out a search of the property. The man has been taken to Newport Police station for questioning by detectives and enquiries are ongoing A spokesman for Hampshire Police said a 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug following a raid at property in Ryde. The man remains in custody at this time .
