Midnight Mugging Shakes Margate
A woman in her 20s was robbed at knifepoint just after midnight on Monday, 24 June 2019, in Margate.
Victim Ambushed on Westbrook Avenue
The victim was walking along Westbrook Avenue when a slim, white man over 5ft 5ins tall, dressed in dark clothes, followed her. When she stopped to let him pass, he grabbed her, demanded money, then snatched her bag containing her purse, keys, and medication.
The thief then fled towards Canterbury Road. Thankfully, the woman escaped without serious injury.
Police Hunt Midnight Robber
