An appeal for information has been issued following a reported robbery near Dover

Kent Police was called after three men forced their way into a shop on Eythorne Road, Shepherdswell, threatened staff and stole a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol. The incident happened at around 5.20am on Friday 5 July 2019 when the business was closed but shop assistants were on the premises. One of the men is described as being white, in his mid to late 30s, 5ft 11in to 6ft tall, of stocky build and wearing a dark hooded top and a beige or cream baseball cap. The other two are described as being white, in their mid to late 50s, 5ft 9in tall and of skinny build. One had stubble and was wearing a black and grey flat cap, a red scarf concealing his face, a black hooded jacket and blue jeans. The other man was wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. It is understood the men ran from the shop after an alarm sounded. Officers would like to speak to anyone with information that may assist the investigation or anybody who was driving through the area at the time and may have dashcam footage of other vehicles.
