M25 SHUT DOWN BOTH WAYS After Massive Lorry Crash
The M25 is completely closed in both directions following a serious crash. Clockwise traffic is halted near Junction 27 (M11) with delays stretching for miles and lasting at least 30 minutes.
Anti-clockwise lanes between Junction 28 and 27 are shut after a lorry smashed through barriers, flipped over, and blocked the carriageway.

Detours & Alternative Routes
Anti-clockwise drivers: Follow hollow black square signs. Exit at J28, take first exit onto A12 towards London.
- Proceed through Gallows Corner, Gants Hill, to Redbridge Interchange.
- At Redbridge Interchange, take 3rd exit onto A406 North towards M11.
- At M11 J4, slip left towards Cambridge, then exit at J6 and bear left to rejoin M25 towards Watford.
Clockwise drivers: Follow hollow black triangle signs. Exit M25 at J27, join M11 southbound towards London.
- At M11 J4, bear left onto A406 South (North Circular Road).
- At Redbridge Interchange, follow left onto A12, then take 2nd exit towards Chelmsford.
- Continue on A12 to Gallows Corner, take 2nd exit, then at Brook Street roundabout take 3rd exit to rejoin M25 J28.
