Third Man Charged in Hounslow Murder Probe
Detectives have charged a third suspect in the brutal killing of 35-year-old Ebrima Cham in Hounslow.
On Friday, 18-year-old Emeka Dawuda-Wodu from W14 was arrested. Just two days later, on Sunday, 12 January, he was formally charged with murder. He is set to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 13 January.
Ongoing Investigation Sees Multiple Arrests
The case dates back to Thursday, 19 December when Ebrima Cham was murdered. Since then, detectives have made several arrests:
- A 31-year-old man arrested on 31 December has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on 2 January.
- A 39-year-old man arrested on 26 December also faces murder and weapon possession charges. He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on 28 December.
A plea and directions hearing for the case is slated for 27 January at the Old Bailey.
Other Suspects Released or Bailed
- A 68-year-old man arrested on 22 December on suspicion of murder has been bailed until mid-January.
- A 44-year-old arrested on 20 December was later released without further action.
