Armed police called to Three Mile Cross property sees man detained

Armed police are currently at the scene of a fear for welfare incident in Tabby Drive, Three Mile Cross, Reading.   No-one has been injured and there is no risk to the wider public. A man has since been arrested and detained by Police at the scene. He was taken away by ambulance following the standoff with officers. A number of officers dressed in riot gear were seen to enter the property before leading the man out to the waiting ambulance. Police have since revealed that the 47 year old has been arrested for a public order offence.

A police cordon that was  put  in place, as since been taken down and the road has been reopened. A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police added that no-one has been injured and there is no risk to the wider public. The arrested man is currently being held in police custody.
