Chaos at Lingfield Station After Double Bus Smash
Emergency services rushed to Lingfield railway station this evening following a dramatic double bus crash. A replacement rail bus smashed into the back of another bus packed with train passengers during the rush hour, causing chaos and forcing all trains to skip the stop.
Station Shut, Passengers Diverted
Lingfield station is now closed, with passengers urged to travel to Three Bridges instead. To ease the disruption, a taxi service is being provided for those affected.

The crash happened just after 7pm on Monday. The second bus involved came to rest on top of two parked cars after the collision. Thankfully, those on board escaped with only minor injuries. Paramedics assessed three people, and one was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
