Brazen Primrose Hill Van Robbery Sees 41 Luxury Watches Stolen
Detectives have launched a hunt after crooks raided a delivery van in Primrose Hill, snatching a haul of high-end watches and fleeing in a getaway car.
Three Suspects Tie Up Driver and Grab Priceless Loot
On the evening of 13 March, around 6.40pm, three masked thieves targeted a delivery van on Chalcot Road, NW1. They forced the driver inside, tied him up, and loaded 41 valuable watches into their own car. Thankfully, the driver escaped without physical injury.
Luxury Watches and Sleek Audi Getaway Car Go Missing
- The stolen watches include sought-after brands like Cartier, Piaget, and Montblanc.
- The watches were privately owned and en route from London to clients worldwide.
- The suspects fled in a black Audi A3, which remains untraced.
Police Appeal for Witnesses to Crack Case
“I am releasing images of watches believed to be identical to the stolen ones, along with a picture of the Audi used in the escape,” said Detective Constable Scott Sellars.
“These criminals were calculating and callous, using threats of violence against the driver. We need witnesses or anyone offered a large stash of similar watches to come forward.”
