Sussex Speed Demon Caught on Camera Doing 201mph!
Two men have been arrested after a jaw-dropping video surfaced showing a car hurtling along the M23 at a terrifying 201mph. The footage, shared on social media, was filmed between Gatwick and Crawley during the coronavirus lockdown.
Black Audi RS6 Seized, Suspects in Custody
Police tracked down the beastly black Audi RS6 involved, seizing it for a full probe. A 38-year-old man from Crawley was arrested for dangerous driving but has since been released under investigation. Another 38-year-old from Horsham faces charges of aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving, and remains on conditional bail until 9 July.
Police Warn: Speeding Will Not Be Tolerated
“Speeding is one of the four most common causes of fatal and serious injury collisions,” warned Chief Inspector Michael Hodder of the Surrey and Sussex Roads Policing Unit. “While most drivers obey speed limits, a reckless few put lives at risk.”
