Two More Arrests in Islington Murder Probe
Detectives have made two fresh arrests in the shocking murder of 22-year-old Imani Allaway-Muir in Islington.
Fourth and Fifth Suspects Held by Police
- A man in his 30s was arrested in Sheerness, Kent on 14 July.
- A man in his 20s was arrested the following day in Islington.
Both remain in custody as the investigation intensifies.
The Murder Details
On Saturday, 4 July at 3:20pm, police were called to Roman Way, N7, after reports of gunshots. Officers and paramedics found Imani suffering from gunshot wounds.
A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound.
Two Men Already Charged
- Nathaniel Reece, 39, of Southgate Road, N1, stands charged with murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
- Matthew Hardy, 34, of Six Acres Estate, N4, is charged with murder.
Both appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court and face their next hearing at the Old Bailey on 28 September.
Another man arrested on suspicion of murder has since been released under investigation.
