Tributes Pour In for Young Man Killed in Bangor Disturbance

The family of Dean Harry Skillin, 20, from Caernarfon have paid a heartfelt tribute after he tragically lost his life following a disturbance near the Waverley Hotel in Bangor on Saturday night.

‘Happy Go Lucky’ Dean Remembered

Dean’s family described him as a “happy go lucky, caring person” and a “much-loved son and brother.” They said: “He loved life and lived it to the full. We were all very proud of him.”

They added, “We will miss him terribly. Dean will always be in our hearts, and we pray no other family faces such suffering.”

Man in Custody as Police Appeal for Witnesses

A 24-year-old man remains in custody following the incident. Detective Inspector Jon Russell urged anyone who was near the Waverley Hotel on Station Road around 10.30pm on Saturday to come forward.

He said: “We are continuing to appeal for information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.”
