‘Full of Life’ Man Fatally Stabbed in Morden Flats Horror

Detectives are hunting three masked attackers after a popular 25-year-old man was stabbed to death outside a block of flats in Morden. Patrick Gomes De’Almeida, described by family as “full of life and laughter”, was tragically killed in the brutal assault.

Stabbing Shakes London Road Community

Police rushed to London Road just before 11pm on Thursday, 1 October, after reports of a stabbing. Officers and paramedics found two men with stab wounds. Despite their efforts, Patrick was pronounced dead at the scene at 11.26pm.

A second man, aged 33, survived with non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

Masked Trio Flee Crime Scene in Car

Investigators believe Patrick was attacked by three masked men outside a London Road address before being fatally stabbed. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle.

In the days before the murder, Patrick’s white Volkswagen Scirocco was deliberately damaged on London Road between 23 and 24 September. Police are probing any link between this act of vandalism and the stabbing.

Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute to ‘P’

“P had a heart of gold. He was loving, caring and full of life and laughter. You always knew when P was in the room. He had the gift of making people smile. P will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Life will not be the same. As he always said: ‘It’s not a party without P’.”

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

Detective Chief Inspector Helen Rance of Specialist Crime South said: “Patrick’s family are heartbroken. My team and I are working round the clock to find those responsible. These attackers are dangerous. We know others have information. Please come forward – you can contact us or speak anonymously to Crimestoppers.”

She added: “We want to speak to anyone near Grosvenor Court and Homefield flats on the evening of 23 September or early hours of 24 September, or between 10pm and 11pm on 1 October.”
