Thieves Target Unique Kukri Knives

Detectives are hunting burglars who smashed into a Benenden home near Cranbrook and made off with quirky and valuable items. The break-in happened between 26 and 27 September 2020, with thieves forcing entry through a window close to Benenden Road.

Among the stolen loot were two curved kukri knives, one featuring a red scabbard marked with a plaque engraved ‘General Patterson’. Alongside the blades, collectable porcelain birds, miniature silver boxes, and a full canteen of cutlery vanished into thin air.

Forensics and House-to-House Enquiries Underway

Police are scrambling to track down the culprits, launching forensic checks and carrying out door-to-door enquiries in the local area. Detectives are desperate for anyone with info to step forward.
