Ricky Preddie, the man who killed 10-year-old schoolboy Damilola Taylor, is back inside after crashing into a female police officer. Preddie, 32, also known as Ricky Johnson, drove dangerously and caused serious injury. He admitted the charges and was sentenced to four years at Harrow Crown Court on Thursday.

Preddie, alongside his 12-year-old brother Danny, was originally jailed for eight years in 2006 for manslaughter over Damilola’s death in 2000 – a crime that rocked the nation. Now, his latest offences include:
- Causing serious injury by dangerous driving
- Driving while disqualified
- Failing to stop after an incident
- Driving without insurance
Long Road Ahead
Scotland Yard confirmed Preddie will face a 12-year driving ban once released. The deadly driver’s reign of recklessness shows no signs of stopping, keeping him behind bars for the foreseeable future.
