Tragic Crash on A291 Claims Driver’s Life

At around 10.30pm on Wednesday 14 October 2020, disaster struck on the A291 Canterbury Road. A black Peugeot 3008 was heading towards the roundabout at the A299 Thanet Way junction when it suddenly left the road and flipped over.

Emergency crews pronounced the driver dead at the scene. A devastating end to what police describe as a serious collision.

Kent Police Launch Urgent Inquiry

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case. They’re desperate for witnesses who saw the crash or spotted the Peugeot just before the smash.

Officers are also hunting for dashcam or CCTV footage that might shed light on what happened.
