Woman Attacked in Beach Rise Doorway
Just after midnight on Saturday, October 17, 2020, a young woman was assaulted in a communal doorway in Beach Rise. The victim, in her 20s, suffered a facial cut and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police Launch Hunt for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Julien Lawton from Margate CID is urging anyone with information to come forward. “While our team carries out forensic checks in the area, we need witnesses to help piece together what happened,” he said.
Road Users and Locals Asked to Review Footage
Police are appealing to motorists who drove through Beach Rise between midnight and 1am to check their dashcams for footage of the group involved. Residents are also urged to look at any home security or doorbell camera recordings for clues.
