From Wednesday, all staff and students in Year 7 and above must wear face coverings in communal areas outside classrooms if they can’t keep their distance. This fresh government guidance comes just before England’s new lockdown kicks in at midnight, following MPs’ narrow approval in a 1-vote House decision.
