Knife-Wielding Gang Hijacks Lorry, Dumps Load in Brazen Night Heist
A ruthless gang held a lorry driver at knifepoint before stealing a truckload of Bose electricals in a terrifying early-morning raid near Milton Keynes.
Driver Held Hostage as Thieves Raid John Lewis Load
The 37-year-old driver was parked close to the John Lewis distribution centre at Magna Park when four men stormed his cab just after midnight on Wednesday, 25 November. Armed with knives, the gang forced him to drive the 40-tonne Man truck along the A5.
They stopped at a layby near Caldecotte and unloaded a huge stash of Bose gadgets from the trailer. Then, breaking off the trailer, they pushed on to another layby near Little Brickhill with the driver still inside.
Forced into nearby woods, the driver escaped injury but watched helplessly as the gang torched the cab. Emergency services rushed to the scene after spotting the blaze.
Police Appeal for Dashcam Footage and Witnesses
Detective Constable Jo Hudson of Thames Valley Police said: “This was a distressing ordeal for the victim, who thankfully was not injured. We’re urgently asking anyone near Magna Park or driving the A5 between Caldecotte and Little Brickhill between 1.45am and 3.45am to come forward if they saw anything suspicious.”

Suspects Described — Knife-Carrying and Masked
- Suspect 1: 5’0″ to 5’2″, slim, 25-30 years old, wearing black clothes with hood and black face mask. Carried two knives.
- Suspect 2: 5’7″ to 6’0″, slim-medium build, 30-35 years old, in light cargo trousers, black jacket with hood and black face mask.
- Suspect 3: About 6’0″, slim, 35-40 years, dressed all in black with face covering.
- Suspect 4: 5’7″ to 6’0″, slim, dark clothing and facemask.
The lorry was a white Man truck with a white and blue trailer.
